Company History
Originally founded by Michael Clear, Carl Schofield and Paul Unsworth in April 1998, Design Paradigm Limited was located at Platt Mills House, Platt Mill, Slaithwaite, HD7 5AB. The company started trading on the 1st June 1998.
From the initial conception of offering bespoke engineering solutions to the manufacturing industry in became apparent very quickly for a need to support our customers with the development of bespoke software solutions particular to their industry. So it was December 1998 that the role of software development engineer was created and filled.
During the subsequent years as the business grew, we quickly out grew our original premises. So in June 2000 the decision was made to move to larger premises. In August 2000 Design Paradigm Limited moved 20 yards in to newly converted offices in the adjacent Platt Mills. Here our new address was Design Paradigm Limited, Platt Mill, Platt Lane, Slaithwiate, Huddersfield HD7 5AB.
